About the Managers
Stephen Grammatico
Co-Lead Manager, Spring 2019
Stephen is a senior finance major and double minor in real estate and economics at the University of Connecticut. An internship at Nassau Asset Management afforded him experience analyzing over 140 current and potential investments in both private equity and debt markets; mainly using investment instruments such as CLO’s, CDO’s, Real Estate, ABS, and investment funds. In addition, Stephen regularly tracked equity and fixed income markets to form investment opinions and defend them at Investment Committee Meetings. While at UConn, Stephen became a member of Finance and Real Estate Society and was a finalist in the Harvard Stock Pitch Competition, Bentley Trading Competition, and Aetna Case Competition. In his free time, Stephen manages a personal portfolio utilizing long term equity investments combined with options, currency, and commodity trading.

Ryan Harrington
Co-Lead Manager, Spring 2019
Ryan Harrington is a Senior at the University of Connecticut majoring in Finance with a minor in Real Estate Principals. This past summer, Ryan interned with J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. as a Summer Analyst in their Private Bank. In this role, Ryan supported various bankers, investment specialists, and estate experts in providing financial solutions to ultra-high net worth clients. Upon graduation, Ryan will be returning to J.P. Morgan as a full-time analyst. Outside of the classroom, Ryan is a member of the finance society and a former mentor for the Business Connections Learning Community. Ryan is originally from Milford, Connecticut and in his free time enjoys swimming, snowboarding, and spending time with friends and family.

Zihui (Shirley) Gu
Portfolio Manager, Spring 2019
Shirley is a senior Finance major and Economic minor at the UConn School of Business. This summer, Shirley interned at Agricultural Bank of China (Singapore Branch) under the corporate banking department. At ABC bank, Shirley was responsible for analyzing financial statements as well as creating clients’ portfolio for the department. The previous summer, Shirley did an internship at a local accounting firm and study abroad to Yonsei University at South Korea. Shirley is originally from China and enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

Daztar Pagdiwala
Digital Media Manager, Spring 2019
Daztar Pagdiwala is a senior Finance major and Analytics minor at the University of Connecticut. This past summer, Daztar was a Summer Analyst at HIMCO, where he analyzed U.S. household debt and credit trends. At UConn, Daztar serves on the executive board for Finance Society, and won the 2018 UConn Stock Pitch Competition. Daztar is from Manchester, Connecticut and enjoys spending time with his friends and going to the gym.

Kayla Reuben
Communications Manager, Spring 2019
Kayla Reuben is a senior at the University of Connecticut pursuing degrees in Finance, Anthropology and Economics. She has interned as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual where she developed her own financial planning practice and experienced working with CFAs and CFPs. She has also worked at Green Shoots Foundation, a London based charity where she researched Cambodian Microfinance Institutions and impact investors to develop a program of food, agriculture and social entrepreneurship. Kayla is from West Hartford, Connecticut and enjoys travelling, reading and spending time with friends in her free time.

Aniello Infante
Co-Lead Manager, Fall 2018
Aniello Infante is a senior Finance major and Real Estate minor at the University of Connecticut School of Business. For the past two summers, Aniello has been a Lead Credit Risk Intern at Assured Guaranty, a municipal bond insurance company based in NYC. At Assured Guaranty, Aniello reviewed financial statements and rating agency reports, used methodologies and analytical tools to assist with credit reviews. Additionally, he mentored and allocated assignments to other interns, and reported team progress to management. Aniello is originally from Long Island, NY and enjoys playing softball and spending time with friends and family.

Richard Traub
Co-Lead Manager, Fall 2018
Richard (Ricky) Traub is a senior honors student at the University of Connecticut majoring in finance and minoring in economics. This past summer, he worked at Hartford Investment Management Company (HIMCO) on the quantitative equity team. Outside of the Student Managed Fund, Ricky serves as the vice president of Mock Wall Street Club. He is also a member of the club swimming team, and likes to participate in intramural sports in his free time.

Joel Thomas
Portfolio Manager, Fall 2018
Joel Thomas is a senior Finance and Economics major with a minor in Analytics at the UConn School of Business. This summer, Joel was a Summer Analyst at Eqoris Advisor, a boutique M&A advisory firm in the Middle East specializing in the Food and Beverages Sector. At Eqoris, Joel was responsible for conducting investment analysis and assisting portfolio managers. Joel is an incoming Summer Analyst for Morgan Stanley’s operations department. On campus, Joel is an active student leader, current Vice President of Finance for HuskyTHON and a member of Pi Kappa Phi.

Anna Simos

Anna is a senior Finance major at the University of Connecticut. This past summer, Anna interned at RBC Capital Markets in New York City working in their Finance Performance Management group as a Financial Analyst. Outside of the Managed Fund, Anna has also become involved in various stock pitch competitions, including the William & Mary Women’s Stock Pitch and Leadership Summit in Virginia, and the Cornell Undergraduate Women in Investing (WIN) in Boston. She is also a member of the Co-Ed Business Fraternity Delta Sigma Pi.

Jilleen Livingston

Jill is a senior majoring in Finance at the University of Connecticut. This summer, Jill interned at Prudential Financial in Hartford, Connecticut in the their Retirement expense FP&A group. At UConn she is involved with the Husky Ambassador program, a member of the Finance Society and has represented UConn at the Cornell Undergraduate Stock Pitch Competition and the Cornell Parker Center Women in Investing (WIN) conference in Boston. Originally from Upstate New York, she is an avid runner, enjoys spending her time outdoors and is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle.
