Alex Sadowski is a second year MBA at the University of Connecticut student with a concentration in Finance. Prior to enrolling in the full-time MBA program, he worked for five years with a wholly-owned subsidiary of eBay as a data integration analyst for B2B and B2C e-commerce channels. Other post-undergraduate work experience included finance and accounting related roles with Louis Dreyfus and The Journal Register Company.

Alex spent his summer interning and is currently performing a co-op with a Danaher Corporation operating company improving their e-commerce channel sales.

Akhilesh is a second year MBA at the University of Connecticut with a concentration in Investment Analysis & Valuation and Corporate Finance. He is also a CFA Level 3 candidate. Prior to joining UConn, Akhilesh worked as a Credit Analyst and Relationship Manager for 4 years in the Corporate Banking Group of ICICI Bank in India. Previous experience also includes working as Software Developer for Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) industry for 2 years. Akhilesh also holds a PGDM from IIM Kozhikode, India.

This summer Akhilesh interned with Nikko Asset Management in its Portfolio Management Division.

Akhil Sood is a second year MBA student at the University of Connecticut with a concentration in Finance. Prior to enrolling the Full-Time MBA program, he worked as a Vendor Manager/Product Development Manager at a B2C and B2B retail store. He also received a Master’s Degree in International Business and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Economics. Akhil spent his summer setting up a jewellery E-Commerce firm, with specialty in B2B segment.

Prior to enrolling in the full-time MBA program, he worked for five years as a structural engineer, consulting for contractors on infrastructure construction projects in the NYC Metro Area. Chris spent his summer interning with Pitney Bowes in their Enterprise Performance Management and Corporate Development departments.

Neel Munot is a second year MBA student at the University of Connecticut with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate Finance. He is a Chartered Accountant (similar to a CPA) and CFA Level 2 candidate with a under graduation and master’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Mumbai. Prior to enrolling in the full-time MBA program, he has worked as statutory and internal auditor with Lodha & Co and Essar Group respectively.Neel spent his summer interning and is currently performing a co-op with the CMBS (Structured Finance) division at Kroll Bond Rating Agency, Manhattan.

Jifeng Hu is a second year MBA student, concentrating in finance. He is a Certified Public Accountant in China, and also holds a finance master degree. Prior to UConn, he worked in Avis and was mainly responsible for financial analysis and budgeting. This past summer he interned in the Trust Funds Department in the United Nations, and performed analysis to identify issues in the process of their ERP system transfer.

Yun Xie is a second year MBA student at the University of Connecticut with a concentration in Finance. She graduated from Nankai University in China, with a undergraduate degree in Finance. After graduation, she joined Bohai Securities Co., Ltd., Assets Management Department as a Product Specialist, involving with the entire lifecycle of each financial product (Mutual Funds, FOFs, Trusts, etc.), from conception to completion.

Yun spent this past summer interning and is currently performing a co-op with the Stanadyne LLC., a powertrain system manufacture, as the MBA intern, performing analysis for the marketing strategies and business development.

Lingfan is a second year MBA student at the University of Connecticut with a concentration in Finance. He is a CFA Level 2 candidate with the BSc in Statistics. Prior to enrolling in the full-time MBA program, he has worked as an institutional benefit consultant in Mercer (Marsh & Mclennan Companies).

Lingfan spent his summer interning and is currently performing a co-op with Philips business development and finance department.

Edward Laclaustra is a second year MBA student at the University of Connecticut with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate Finance. He also received a double major Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Organizational Communication.

Edward spent his summer interning at a Real Estate Investment firm working exclusively in their Retail Commercial portfolio.

Jason is a second year MBA concentrating in finance and marketing. Before enrolling in UConn School of Business, he worked four years as the Business Development Manager for SolarUS, a solar panel manufacturer based in CT. He held his MBA internship at SAP Latin America and Caribbean’s Global Partnership and Digital Marketing division in Miami, FL. Jason is the President of the UConn Graduate Consulting group. He is also the Director of Reforestation Operations for Carbon Zero Fuel, a non-profit startup dedicated to combatting carbon emissions.Jason looks forward to reentering the business world in an effort to make environmental conservation, responsible economic development and social well-being the new business-as-usual.
